My art does not require, by any means, a leveled plane of traditional and recognizable dimension. My images on an aesthetic perspective, deal more with the conscience and sub-conscience of our human existence and our functions that we force ourselves to do every minute of our waking existence. The levels of emotional and spiritual integration of our being with others, sometimes force the uncontrollable energies that make us function. People, animals and the self and spirit are all interconnected with the world but humanity insists on its aggressive technological advances and progress at the cost of our integrity and the loss of all other innocent life involved. The start of wars and destruction without resolution and more innocent deaths affect our progress as a society and our evolution or de-evolution as intelligent beings. My artwork is an emotional landscape of not just me, but of the world itself and the consequential result of a desired or undesired action(s) made by me, you, them and others living in this world. What my art portrays is aggressive, it is in constant conflict, it is confusing, contradicting and the images produced are purposely malevolent to reflect the nameless, faceless and painful lives that are lived or have lived on this planet. I integrate forms of nature such as animals and flora as a means of humility and the need to be grounded and to belong to and relate to something pure with only instinct; and not premeditated though process. I am doing this endless series to allow an outside audience to view my interpretation of my view on degraded morality. I want the view to be absolutely shocking and disgusting with the fact that we humans, are a dirty breed of creatures living more than fifty percent of our existence indulging ourselves with uncontrollable desires to satisfy unwarranted needs all the while being wasteful and hateful to others out of our own indulgence and selfishness as we are ignorant to the pain of others. My works purpose is to directly point to external forces that make the world what it is and how the end results become detrimental and negatively final in most situations. Certain images depicted can reflect upon a single human’s stance in a situation or many humans captured in an uncontrollable arena of reactionary positions. The aim is to speak to the public through violent and pacifistic (passive/aggressive) imagery of the violent cycle of birth, life and death & cultural beliefs by means of fastening imagery to words, a thought, an emotion, standpoint or a reaction to an action and then interpret them. Visually, I challenge the viewer to look at the darker side of human nature. The imagery presented mostly deals with my conscience and sub-conscience's perspective on the human condition and/or reactions that, in turn, occur in the real world over a period of time. There is a continuous cross over of various overtones dealing with cultural references, media text, and the basic to complex symbolism in representing what I would put into the obvious of dealing with the distinguishing features of being a vulnerable living and sentient being. The images that are produced are also single point of view by me of the repugnant reflections of violence and the false indications of meliorism in societies through different means of genocide, personal control (or lack thereof), social media or political corruption.
